red birds




there is something singularly wonderful about a flash of red in the trees...





or in the bird feeder!

    I am surrounded by Blue Jays of late. Fitting... the joker of birds. I like red too.

    i love blue jays.. they're rather cheeky.

    we have them around here too, but i have yet to capture a photo of one.
    still, i was thrilled to have caught the woodpecker and cardinals at the feeder :)
